Guild [PaLs], Guild History. Predominant Roles: Cripshot (Ranger), Mesmer, Rt, ZB, E/R Flaggers, Assassin/Thumper/Other Frontline.

This will serve as a placeholder for builds under testing as well as my personal variations. Sprinkled between are my own characters' bios and comments, and of course bad attempts at being funny. I have a tendency to abuse PvE to my advantage and spam up to 3 superior runes using the excuse that I can change armor if I'm in danger. Mm hmm.

[edit] Silk Weaver

Silk Weaver is a Mesmer Warrior to heart, and will never forget it. His life goal is to find the mesmer who posed for Spell Slasher. Firstly to preach the ways of a true Spell Blade, and secondly to seduce and live happily ever after.

Silk, having been a servant of Dwayna, either directly restoring or indiretly protecting those in need is not afraid to abuse her favor. He leeroys more than a warrior.

Strangely enough, he has a lot of influence, so he's always supported by able companions. He never dies. Monks wonder why they follow him, but they follow him anyway. He hates Cantha, and went only so he could get a White Tiger pet. Seeing as he's too lazy to train his own, and the rumored untamed Dire White Tiger still eludes him, he's still petless, and envies Artemis to no end. On his crusade, however, he manage to learn many duplicates of skills that he never used to start with. He wishes only to return to the Northern Shiverpeaks one day when he's done preaching Mesmerism.

He's not an overly religious person, but he's Lyssan to heart. He detests lack of style, and is rather vain. He decided that Fissures of Wow gloves, even though they look almost the same as the cheaper ones, were worth it. He respects Balthazar and his (better) servants very much, but never does he openly say so. He thinks it'd make him look bad.

While he has little practical guild purposes, being unwilling to use E-denial becuase it's "so ruffian", he acts as the leader, organizing groups, holding meetings, preparing for battle, scolding bad officers, collecting tax from guild farmers, and flirting with the Rangers and Monks. The last two duties being unofficial.

Artemis Au Apollo named herself that because it seems like a good idea to have two Archer God/Goddesses in her name... at the same time. She has a real name, but she wouldn't tell, and noone asks. Friends call her Arty, Guildies call her Art, Luxons call her "runner", along with various profanities. True to her namesake, she has no interest in romance whatsoever. She finds it silly, although she's, in a way, love with her pet.

As a fickle soul, she despises blunt tactics used by some rangers, and relies more on guile than anything. She had, since reaching Cantha, begun learning the way of the assassin and pay homage to Lyssa

She had also found a whiter tiger kitten in the Kurzick forest, and, soon after, brought him to the Ice Troll Caves to train him against the minotaurs in the area. In that time, she had grown in love with the Shiverpeaks, and also met Silk Weaver, who was there for no apparant reason other than to tell warriors not to use mending or some such. In the sense of being Lyssan, they are kindred spirits, but Artemis prefers to leave the warriors alone. (The more around the better...)

Since then, she had learned also the way of the mesmer and decided to, officially anyway, become a Devotee of Lyssa, and attributes all of her prowess (and luck) to the work of Lyssa. Silk's vanity also rubbed off onto her, and she has begun her search for the rare materials nessesary for her fourth set of armor.

She makes fun of Silk because she's "a better mesmer than him." She despises necromancers and rangers or mesmers who dabble in necromancy, as well any fire elementalists and their slow rituals. She considers them vain and self absorbed in thinking them to be the be all and end all of a group of adventurers. She, greatly respects Elementalists under Dwayna, however, as most of her duels are carried out agaisnt them-- most of which end up in a draw.

She dubbed her tiger Doggie, and they, having defeated the evils in both Tyria and Canthan, travels the world, meets new people, hunts the snowy mountain, and kills the odd hostile Luxons they meet now and then (they are so rude... just go to Cavalon). The prospect of Elonan ports being opened up thrills her, and she has saved up a fortune for the trip. She was very dissapointed, horrified even, by the Vabbian's prospect of beauty, however, especialyl when they are the most prominent worshippers of Lyssa. As such, she has grown a strong dislike for the Vabbi, and plans to leave as soon as she finds Silk and Flintz who sank into the crowd and never came back.

She did grow fond of the Lions however, and began training one for her new student, Jin (who she calls Jinny). Artemis harbors plans to have a cohort of female rangers/nymphs like the Goddess did in myth, but so far only found two, one of which is much older (and ruder), so she didn't have much luck there.

She also found some cool hats.

Equipment: Explorer's Armor, Stormbound armor with two sets of gloves each, one set with minor runes of Marksmanship, the other with superior. Crippling Recurve Bow and a Poisonous Shortbow, the former for interrupting and crippling, the latter for degen spreading.

Crippling Shot interchangable with Burning Arrow and Broad Head Arrow, Apply Poison with Barbed Arrows.
