The build Crip Slash Heat uses the AoE damage from SH eles to provide pressure while the Crip Slash Warriors cripple
and inflict damage so they cannot escape the AoE damage
quickly.

[edit] Team Usage
Before attacking or monking the foes or your allies, cast Conjure Flame,
Fire
Attunement, and Channeling. If you are against a full Necromancer or Mesmer team and are expecting a
hex spike, have the monks cast Holy Veil on themselves. Once the battle starts,
the SH Ele with Mark of Rodgort should spread Mark of Rodgort
to the Warrior’s, Sin’s, and your targets. Once the hex has been
spread, switch to your fiery weapons and attack. Spread pressure by
using Savannah
Heat, Teinai's Heat, and Searing Heat. Use Arcane Echo before
using Savannah
Heat to echo it. The warriors should be crippling the foes
within aoe damage and inflicting damage on their targets. Use Frenzy to attack faster and
Rush as a cancel stance. The
SP sin should go down its bar when attacking the foe to inflict a
lot of damage and conditions, first using Expose Defenses
and the Shadow
Prison all the way to Blades of Steel to finish off the combo. Use
Infuse
Health to counter spikes and Light of
Deliverance to heal entire party. Use Restore
Condition to remove conditions and Draw Conditions
to move conditions from the RC prot monk to the SoR Monk. Before
using Shield of Regeneration to heal allies,
use Glyph of Lesser Energy to reduce
energy. Use Flame Djinn's Haste for relic run maps.
The monks should oragnize an Aegis chain. Everyone should be on Ventrilo or Teamspeak so they know when
everything happens. The first monk casts Aegis and says on Vent or TS "Aegis 1" so the
other monks know when to use their aegis. Once Aegis 1 has expired,
the next monk says and casts "Aegis 2". Repeat this to ensure
victory.
[edit] Team Variants
- The replacement for the SP Sin:
[edit]
Water Trident Elementalist
-
- Used to snare foes. Cast Water Attunement for energy management
and Glyph of Lesser Energy for energy reduce. Cast Freezing Gust to
slow down foes and Water Trident to kd moving foes. Ice Spikes and
Deep Freeze are used when foes are together, like the same usage
with AoE damage. Cast Blurred Vision on melee foes.
The Lightning version of Crip Slash:
[edit]
Crip Slash Warrior
(Lightning)
- Same usage, except use Shock as a KD/inturruption. If you choose this variant,
the SH ele w/Mark of Rodgort dosn't have to spread that hex on the
warrior's targets.
- Bring a Shocking
Sword of
Fortitude with a 15^50 inscription and a +30hp shield with your
choice of inscription
[edit] Minor variants
- The one of the Crip Slash Warriors can replace their conjure
with Conjure
Frost to counter fire based armor/team since most people expect
to face a fiery team, such as SF spike and SH pressure teams, like
this 1. This tactic is recommended, but it means that you can't
spread fire around by using Mark of Rodgort + Fiery swords.
