A Victory Assassin is designed to use offensive conditions to kill it's opponent fast while keeping health and energy high with "Victory is Mine!". It's main purpose is for killing single opponenets in Alliance Battles and other sorts of PVP, including 1 on 1 scrimmages.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
![]() ![]() |
Attribute Rank |
---|---|
Dagger Mastery | 10 + 1 + 3 |
Critical Strikes | 10 + 1 |
Tactics | 10 |
- Basic Build: This is the basic build used for fighting any type of opponent. Use when the opponents build and class are unknown.
- Versus Caster Build: This is the modified build for fighting a caster. By using "Fear Me!" whenever possible, your opponenet will lose energy and won't be able to use many spells that could be deadly.
- Versus Condition Spammer Build: A condition spammer is a very hard opponent for this build to defeat. By using Assassin's Remedy when affected by a condition, you can save yourself from death.
- Versus Melee Build: This modified version of the build is for use against a melee character. Use Critical Defenses to give yourself a chance to block painful melee damage. Critical Eye will help renew Critical Defenses by enhancing your chance to land a Critical Strike.
[edit] Equipment
- Armor:
- Weapons
- Weapon Set 1: Vampiric Daggers of Fortitude, with a "Strength and Honor" Inscription.
- Weapon Set 2: Sword or Axe of Fortitude, with an "I have the power!" Inscription, and a shield of fortitude. This is just to be switched to when not attacking.
[edit] Usage
- These builds use the
same technique except for a few modified skills which enhance the
abilities of the build. Begin by using Critical
Defenses if equipped. When you are about to attack your
opponent, use Critical Eye if equipped and Unsuspecting Strike. Once Unsuspecting Strike hits, use Fox Fangs, Horns of the
Ox, Falling Spider, and Twisting Fangs;
in that exact order.
- Be sure to use Falling Spider immediately after Horns of the Ox hits because you must hit them while still knocked down.
- After hitting with all of your attack skills, your opponent should have
at least 3 conditions on them. Use "Victory is Mine!" to restore health and energy.
- By the time your use "Victory is Mine!" your opponent should be very close to dead, finish them off by using Unsuspecting Strike.
- Use Healing Signet to heal once your opponent has been defeated.
[edit] Counters
- A Condition spammer can kill this build if there is no way for the opponent to remove conditions.
- An opponent using defensive stances such as Shield Stance, Defensive Stance, or other stances that give them a 75% chance to block will easily survive against this build.
- An opponent that causes blindness or casts hexes that cause chance to miss will defeat this build.
[edit] Variants
- As listed above, compared to the "Basic Build", Healing Signet and Critical Eye may be replaced with any skills that will help defend against the opposing build. There is no need for more offensive skills.
