This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this build is not viable. |
|
This build is mainly another choice then using daggers or a bow to take advantage of the Assassin's primary attribute, Critical Strikes. The combined Assassin and Paragon skills can give a very high percent for critical strikes while also inflicting Bleeding and Deep Wound conditions, making a very potent combination.

- If you need more defense, replace either "Find Their Weakness!" or Swift Javelin with "Stand Your Ground!".
[edit] Equipment
- Armor
-An Assassin mask that gives + 1 to Critical Strikes and best vigor rune possible. Radiant Insignias on the Chest and Legs, while placing Survivor Insignias on the mask, hands, and feet to maximize health. 2 vitae runes and 1 Attunement Rune
- Weapons
-I found that either 15 enchanted or 15 in stance Spear works best, since you will always be enchanted or in a stance, such as Toshau's Spear. A -2/+45 in stance or enchanted Command shield, such as Briahn's Guidance
[edit] Usage
- Before engaging in combat, apply Sharpen Daggers, Way of the Assassin, and Critical Eye. Choose a 'squishy' target first, since they can do tremendous damage and they are easier to kill. Monks are not a serious problem to kill with this build, since it applies a tremendous amount or pressure to heal themselves, making it easier for your teammates to kill other targets. Then, use your Paragon attacks as much as possible, keeping "Find Their Weakness!" and "Go for the Eyes!" as long as possible. The only downside I found to this part is the lack of healing.
[edit] Counters
- Main counter to this build is mainly any melee counters i.e Blind. Blocking and Evasion is not as bad since Swift Javelin can't be blocked or evaded if you have Sharpen Daggers up. Enchantment removal can hurt, but will not shut down this build. Stance removal will hurt pretty bad, but since it is rarely seen, you don't really need to worry about it.
[edit] Variants
- There are many variants to these skills, such as Build:A/W Way of the Chopper, but here is a ranger variant of it.

- If moving to much, replace Favorable Winds with Read the Wind. Also, you could replace Savage Shot with Disrupting Accuracy.
[edit] Equipment
- Armor
- Same as top build
- Weapons
-15 enchanted or in stance Bow, either a Flatbow, Longbow, or Recurve Bow. A good green for this build would be Tarnok's Recurve Bow.
[edit] Usage
- Start off by using Sharpen Daggers and Favorable Winds. When you get close to a target, apply Critical Eye and Way of the Assassin. Use Keen Arrow as much as possible for maximum damage.
[edit] Counter
- Counters include Anti - Melee or enchanting removal could hurt as well.
[edit] Notes
- This build, if kept up correctly, can obtain a whopping 52% Critical chance without "Go for the Eyes!" and will ALWAYS score a critical hit with "Go for the Eyes!" if Critical Eye and Way of the Assassin is up!
