This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this
build is not viable.
This build was voted unfavored for the following reasons:
- Elite slot brings almost no benefit to the build
|
This build is centered around the use of shooting high-powered
arrows enchanted with fire to deal spike damage on enemies. It is
based on dealing such forms of damage against low armor targets, in
a short amount of time.

The technique is simple and straight forward.

Average damage output against Soft Targets
[edit] Counters
- This build deals elemental damage so its not compatible with Orders so its best used when
there are no Order Necros in the group, which is rare in PvE, and
it will kill a given target faster than Barrage taking preasure off your team.
- It's also weak against anti spam skills like Diversion and Distracting
Shot as these will shut down the vital damage stacking and
attack skills, luckily skills like Distracting Shot can be evaded by your
stances.
- Lastly there's no way to protect Conjure Flame other than quickly killing
enemy mesmers and necromancers,
however loosing 11 damage per shot won't kill the build just slow
it down.
[edit] Variants
- If you're finding that you tend to lose Conjure Flame a lot
due enchantment removal in a given area or mission, simply remove
it and re-adjust your points into Marksmanship and Wilderness
Survival. You won't do as much damage but you will also not be
wasting time and Energy with Conjure Flame. You can supplement Conjure Flame
with another Fast Attack skill such as Savage Shot, or simply drop in a Resurrection Signet.
- Bring along Glyph of Elemental Power and lower
your fire points by 2 to save attribute points for other areas
- Bring Glyph of Lesser Energy and Mark of
Rodgort. Cast lesser energy and then mark on your enemy to set
them on fire permanently as you attack.
- Add points into Beast mastery and bring Bestial/Tigers fury
instead of lightning reflexes for more attack speed more
often.
- Bring Savage
Shot instead of distracting shot for extra damage as well as
interrupts more frequently.
