Shortbows have the fastest rate of fire of all bows in the game but have the penalty of short range. The statistics of these bows are identical to Half Moons.

Shortbows are the standard Shortbow offered by Weaponsmiths in the Factions Campaign. Composite Shortbows are the standard Shortbows offered by Collectors and Weaponsmiths in the Nightfall campaign. They have the same appearance.
