The A/any Critical Threat is designed to consistently produce Critical Hits which Strip Enchantments, cause Bleeding, and renew Critical Defenses while also providing energy. It will cause a critical hit about 40% of the time and has two guaranteed criticals as well.

- Keep Critical Eye, Sharpen Daggers, and Dark Apostasy
- Use Critical Defenses as necessary.
- Use Golden Phoenix Strike --> Critical Strike whenever possible.
- Use Malicious Strike whenever possible on Bleeding foes.

- General Anti-Melee (Empathy, Spiteful Spirit, etc.)
- Blind
- Heavy Enchantment Stripping
- Skills which negate critical hits (Ex. Stoneflesh Aura)

- Assassin's Remedy, Antidote Signet, or Signet of Malice for condition removal
- Way of Perfection
- With a Paragon Secondary, "Find Their Weakness!" is a useful skill.
- With a Warrior Secondary, Wild Blow is a useful skill.
