This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this build is not viable. |
|
This build is designed to deal significant damage to an over-extended soft target. Spinal Shivers is used to prevent the target from using skills to recover.

Curses | 11 |

[edit] Equipment
- Armor:
-
- Critical Strikes +1 Headgear
- Vanguard's Guise (reduces blind duration on you by 20%
- Saboteur's Gloves (reduces bleeding duration on you by 20%)
- Shrouded Leggings and Shrouded Shoes (+3 energy)
[edit] Usage
- Select a lone soft target. Monks and Ritualists should rank a high priority.
- Cast Spinal Shivers and follow with Parasitic Bond.
- Use the attack chain: Black Lotus Strike, Horns of the Ox, Falling Spider, Twisting Fangs as they recharge.
- Use Leaping Mantis Sting to cripple a fleeing target.
- If you have a monk on your team *Team arena, AB, Etc...* You will basically keep beating on the other persons monk and then follow down the line of who is most dangerous to your team.
[edit] Counters
- All standard attack counters work. This includes conditions such as blindness and weakness; hexes such as Empathy, Faintheartedness and Spiteful Spirit; and blocking or evasive stances and enchantments such as Distortion, Whirling Defense, Magnetic Aura, Guardian, Shield of Deflection, et al.
- Standing adjacent to an ally will eliminate the threat of Horns of the Ox and Falling Spider.
- Removing all hexes before Black Lotus Strike is used will prevent the Solid Interrupter from using most of it's attack skills. Only Leaping Mantis Sting will remain viable in this instance.
[edit] Variants
- The following skills work well in AB: Spiteful Spirit, Sharpen Daggers, Locust's Fury, Dark Apostasy, Flashing Blades or Critical Defenses. Resurrection Signet should be the skill replaced.
- Consider replacing Leaping Mantis Sting with Plague Touch if you find that Leaping Mantis Sting has little value for you.
[edit] Notes
- Monks can remove hexes quickly, so get in close range before you use Spinal Shivers and Parasitic Bond.
