- This skill negates "Shields Up!" and blocking enchantments such as Aegis and Guardian, which are the principal protections against ranger spike attacks. However, it conflicts with Read the Wind, which is essential for the damage output of ranger spike.
- Practiced Stance can be used to maintain this preparation.
- With seeking arrows active, arrow interrupts like Savage Shot and Distracting Shot are guaranteed to hit.
- To help prevent dodging, use a low-arc bow like a Recurve Bow.
