This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this build is not viable. |
|
The build is designed to have MASSIVE damage output using an IAS that's constantly up as well as having your adrenaline being pumped up thanks to Dragon Slash. The pet is optional but recommended for the little addition of DPS as well as being an extra target to soak damage.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
![]() ![]() |
Attribute Rank |
---|---|
Swordsmanship | 11 + 1 + 3 |
Beastmastery | 10 |
Strength | 10 + 1 |
- optional slots should be used accordingly
- Healing Signet, a self heal, always solid in any situation.
- Dolyak Signet, for PvE this skill is also solid, and in which case Comfort Animal should be brought in order to resurrect your pet.
- Sprint for those moments in pvp when you must hunt down those monks, in which case Comfort Animal should not be brought, and a Resurrection Signet should be used for all situations with the exception of alliance battles.
- Resurrection Signet, must be brought in all PvP situations with the exception of alliance +battles.
- Between those 5 skills you should be wise as to which would be the most beneficial to which situation.
[edit] Equipment
- Armor
- Duelists Helm
- Gladiator's Armor
- Superior Vigor
- Superior Absorption
- Superior Swordsmanship
- Minor Strength
- Weapons
Customized Zealous sword of fortitude. 15%^50, 15% stance or 15% -5 engery for pvp the in stance would be more beneficial
Strength based shield.
- Exalted Aegis green item is always a solid choice, though a "+45 -2 in stance" strength based shield would be ideal.
[edit] Usage
Don't go charging in like any ordinary wammo, this is more of an assassin style build, revamped a-la warrior, and without the hexes and conditions.
as soon as you are adjacent to your desired target, activate Tiger's Fury. Wait for Galrath Slash/Silverwing Slash to charge up (will take a couple seconds with the IAS) then activate Tiger's Fury again to maintain the stance to make the most out of Standing Slash, then unleash those three skills. As soon as Dragon Slash activates, use it, and you'll find Standing Slash already. In Essence, this build relies on the ability to maintain Tiger's Fury. But it's the fact that this build takes advantage of both IAS AND an adrenaline boosting skill that charges itself, is what makes this build so pressure heavy, yet in a way almost spike-like; Because once Dragon Slash has been charged up, you will basically find yourself overflowed with adrenaline and you will be getting arthiritis from clicking numbers 1,2,3 and 4 so often.
Use Sprint in pvp
Bring Healing Signet in AB and RA
Bring Comfort Animal for PvE
Bring Dolyak Signet for PvE as well as it is the ultimate tanking skill in the game. one just has to be wise as when to use it properly.
Don't worry about your pet dying in PvP, in RA and TA it's just
there for filler, and it is entirely optional to bring it along
there. however in AB it is recommended in order to take full
advantage of the points spent in Beastmastery.
[edit] Counters
The usual anti melee counters.
heavy degen will make short work of you if in AB, RA or TA without a monk.
this build essentially has no survivability besides the fact that you're playing a warrior and therefore one of the last professions to ever be targetted in PvP, and in PvE you'll have monks who'll be worrying about you surviving.
