This is a farming team build that consists of two monks (A Brambles Monk and a Tanking Monk) used to farm The Underworld (The Labyrinth and Ice Wastes. It is kinda like the normal 600 Smiting build, but uses ranger's Brambles combined with Shield of Judgment to make monsters bleed.

Holy Wrath

  • You can replace Bane Signet with Signet of Rage (It works well on the Aatxe).

[edit] Equipment

  • Any armor will do, but I think Shepherd's Armor will do the best, cause of the aditional energy.
  • Kepkhet's Refuge or any other staff that has +20% Enchantments, lowered Recharge Time and +5 Energy mods.
  • Superior Rune of Smiting Prayers and a Superior Rune of Protection Prayers.

[edit] Usage

When you enter The Underworld Do Not take Clear the Chamber. Cast Life Attunement, Retribution and Holy Wrath on your fellow Tanking Monk. When You're done casting them use Blessed Signet two times, stand back and make Brambles. Before your teammate approaches the Bladed Aatxes quickly cast Shield of Judgment and move away. Be sure to stay far away from the Tanking Monk, to not aggro the Aatxe. When you two are done clearing the Chamber of the Aatxe, take the quest and let the tanking monk take care of the Grasping Darknesses. Once again do not come close to the Grasping Darknesses and this time Don't cast Shield of Judgment and Brambles, because you might aggro the Ugly Jellyfish or whatever these are ^^. After the Chamber is empty go northeast and clear your way to the Icy Wastes where the Smite Crawlers are. Don't bother casting SoJ or making Brambles, cause Smites can't bleed. Let your teammate get rid of them and only approach Coldfire Nights when there are no Smites around. The rest of the UW is still being tested with this build!

[edit] Counters

If standing far away from the tanking monk, you shouldn't get hurt.

[edit] Notes

  • Stay FAR away from the tanking monk, but stay in the radar, otherwise the tanking monk will lose the enchantments.
  • IF your teammate dies in the middle of a mob and the monsters don't spread out, cast SoJ on yourself and make Brambles. Quickly approach and use Rebirth. But try avoiding this and try avoiding the monsters by any mean.

[edit] Equipment

  • Shepherd's Armor and a headpiece of Protection Prayers. Get the lowest armor possible, like 15AL from Monestery, for taking more damage and dealing more damage this way.
  • Kepkhet's Refuge or any other staff that has +20% Enchantments, lowered Recharge Time and +5 Energy mods.
  • Minor Rune of Protection Prayers, Minor Rune of Divine Favor and three Runes of Vitae (+10 Max Healeh).

[edit] Usage

Before encountering a mob cast Protective Spirit, Spellbreaker, Spirit Bond and Frenzy/Elemental Resistance In this order. Be sure to keep them all but Spellbreaker on all the time. If a Nightmare pops up kill it with your staff (or just let it kill itself with hitting you, but the first option is safer, you don't want Spellbreaker to wear off and lose your enchantments). If you die, let your teammate resurrect you. Your max health will still be hih enough for the build to work. You can also take some candy canes with 15%dp removal with you, but that won't be necessary.

[edit] Counters

  • Enchantment removal,
  • too many interrupts (not likely to happen, because all the spells you have to keep up have 1/4 casting time).

[edit] Notes

It will take some time to get used, but when you master it out you'll find out it's quite easy, fast and fun.

Hint #1: If you are the tanking monk, and you take the 4 gaspings in one time, cast spirit bond as soon as it recharges, cause it doesnt last 8 seconds but only a few hits so it goes faster then you think.

Hint #2: Again for the tanking monk; don't cast spirit bond > frenzy > protective spirit > spirit bond, because that means instand death most time, at bigger groups. You can better cast spirit bond > protective spirit > spirit bond > frenzy.
