Grasping Darknesses are fast moving anti-caster warriors. Their skill set causes interruptions, dazed and energy drain which means that a group of them can quickly render spell casters useless if not handled properly.

• Cast any buffs before engaging them as you might not have the opportunity later.
• These are not as fortified against elemental damage as the Bladed Aatxes, so Area of Effect spells and burning work very well against them.
• The ranger skills Dust Trap and Throw Dirt are highly effective in neutralizing their interruptions.
• These have a +33% Speed Buff constantly, making it hard to run from them without a Speed Buff of your own.
