This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this build is not viable. |
|
This build combines the powers of Expertise with the skills of Swordsmanship and Tactics. Since Expertise can not only reduce the amount of energy everything costs, but also help recharge all its skills faster, it is able to use Desperation and Drunken Blow enough to cause massive conditions to who ever it is fighting. For a bonus conditon of bleeding and extra protection, it uses Deadly Riptose. Riptose is also thrown in the build because it take little time to get up so it can have it up most of the fight and it deal massive damage. This build is good for in 1v1, Alliance Battles, Random Arena, and sometimes even Guild vs Guild. This build can be used anywhere because of its abillity to not only deal fast and massive damage but to also provide enough self heal to hold its own against almost any types of enemies.

[edit] Equipment
- All Druid's Armor with +1 Expertise and +1 Wilderness Survival (avoid any runes that subtract health)
- A Max sword with +30 health mod and +15% when health is above 50%. You can either get a 20/20 mod or 10% double adrenaline mod. For a suggestion, you might want the adrenaline modification to help keep riptose up as long as possible.
- For an off hand, it is good to have something that is +15 energy -1 regeneration. Having this will give you a HIGH max energy so when Vim goes off your can get all the energy possible from your condtions.
[edit] Usage
- Balanced Stance is used and then imideitly it uses its Drunken and Desperation Blow.
- With all the conditions your causing "Victory is Mine!" should heal plenty. Also to help build up conditons with this build, you could loose a skill like Healing Signet (if it has a monk to heal it instead) and put in Apply Poison.
-Keep Troll Unguent up when you feel it could be useful. A lot of times, "Victory is Mine!" and Healing Signet do just fine. But Troll Unguent is a nice way to combat conditions and degan hexes.
[edit] Counters
- Crippling is a huge weakness to this build. Unless you've crippled them back before they run away, there's nothing to do but wait for condition to wear off or be removed.
- Any sort of Anti- Melee builds or hexes could hurt this build bad. For example, Spirit Shackles.
- Blinding could harm this build but if using all your self heals properly, and not surrounded by enemies, this build has a good chance to survive.
[edit] Variants
- It may be possible to replace Riposte with Apply Poison.
- In Parties with monks it is possible to remove Troll Unguent because of its casting time and Healing Signet for the armor subtration for Apply Poison and Resurrection Signet.
