As the name implies, this build tends to "plant" a numerous amount of things. He/she uses the Ranger attribute Expertise to lower the energy cost of Spirits (that do not require health to function) and Traps.

[edit] Equipment
- Druid's armor for energy.
- A Communing staff.
- A bow if you intend to use Oath Shot (see variants)
[edit] Usage
Go into combat beginning with your three spirits, Pain, Bloodsong, and Shadowsong. Use Serpent's Quickness to speed up their recharge. To protect you and your spirits, plant traps under the spirits. If enemies are not attacking you, you can run into the fray and plant traps there. Whirling Defense to plant traps without interruption, or just to defend yourself. Use Resurrection Signet to revive fallen allies. If you picked up Oath Shot, equip your bow and use that to recharge your Spirits and Traps.
[edit] Counters
Interrupts, Energy Denial, Knockdown. The Spirits health is not powered by Spawning, so they have low health.
[edit] Variants
- Different Spirits and/or Traps. Certain more powerful spirits, in order to attract melee attackers to your trap, such as Wanderlust, may replace one of the spirits. Spike Trap will have to be changed if you do so because you may only have one elite skill at a time.
- Replace Serpent's Quickness or Spike Trap with Oath Shot to recharge spirits and Traps. Replacing Serpent's Quickness with Oath Shot will require changing Spike Trap due to both Oath Shot and Spike Trap being elite.
[edit] Notes
This build is much like a Ritual Lord and Trapper combined.
