[edit] Acquisition
Signet of Capture:
- Psychic Distraction's short recharge time allows the caster,
energy permitting, to spam interrupts at the expense of all other
skills.
- Note that the interrupt from this skill is basically
unstoppable (assuming the skill is allowed to execute on the
target). Even if the target has interruption prevention skill on
(like Mantra of Resolve or Glyph
of Concentration), the target skill will be disabled for
the amount of time specified above. This means that the foe's skill
will keep casting normally, but fail at the very end of activation
with a message that says Skill is recharging. The effect is
similar to Blackout.
- The 8 second disable for all other skills is reset each time
Psychic Distraction is cast.
- Use in conjunction with a long-term energy-management skill,
such as Channeling.
- This skill also works very well against special bosses like Mallyx who have particularly
nasty skills that can do a lot of damage to a whole party at
once.
