[edit] Build Names
Are we going to use the (premade) after the name or no - seems
mixed ATM (talk)

- That is for overlap with existing pages.. — Skuld 18:20, 30 July 2006 (CDT)
So what do we do with this page now. I don't think they have premades any more. Pluto 02:49, 30 October 2006 (CST)
- Hang on to it, they might reinstate them, else rename to archived premade imo — Skuld 02:51, 30 October 2006 (CST)
Wanted to let you know that I was building a PvP character last night and all the premade builds were gone. I am assuming this is because I have installed nightfall and there is not a new list of builds for the game yet. Just thought you should know so that if it stays this way for long you can inform your users of this change. Thank you.-User:66.173.229.10
I doubt they are going to re-instate it. IMO all the premades should be archived, this page deleted, and a note of "what was" on the discontinued page.-Onlyashadow, Top 100 Guild 10:36, 30 October 2006 (CST)
- Agreed. This page should be discontinued and archived. -Yusef 04:30, 2 November 2006 (CST)
- I changed my mind. The builds on this page should be archived
BUT...the current pre-mades (IE what you automatically get when you
create a new PvP toon) should replace them. Yusef 04:01, 3 November 2006 (CST)
- Really? Well I can make them if you want (I made most of the Nightfall builds here), but they look a bit "To stubby, even to be a stub". Having no Secondary profession and all...

- Thanks for the link, I don't normally make too many state of
the game type comments but removing the premade PvP builds is a
very poor decision I reckon. The first premades were a joke but the
newest ones, some of them were really good, they were actual builds
you could run in GvG (sometimes with a little tweak or two). This
new one build you add on to thing is rubbish as is the comment on
that page: Suggested Skill Unlocks: Blinding Flash and Air
Attunement...save Attunement for a cover Enchantment so Aura of
Restoration doesn't get stripped from you. Double balth faction
was the offset we got I guess, we got ripped off. Maybe they felt
that it was too hard to keep up the premade builds with the
metagame, it's still a pity though. --Xasxas256 18:27,

- So will we Just Archive the Premade Builds we have and dispose
of the page, or copy over things on that page and add in our own
comments on the bottom, suggesting a second class or some
individual builds that are plenty on the Wiki? — Poki#3

- Na I find the Premade builds more "Resourceful." I used some of the build there. Some people who PvP don't find much of a counter to them depending on what situation. - X H K

[edit] The "New" Premade builds...
Premade builds are not dead, but they have taken a new form. The
builds are described in PvP Primers. There are builds that New PvP
characters start out, and builds that are featured at the weebsite
from time to time. I want to know are we going to delete this
category altogether, or are we going to rename it, and copy what
they are writing in the Premiers here, and I would like to know
that soon... — Poki#3 15:07, 23 November 2006 (CST)

- It appears that someone has started adding new premade builds to this category ... do we want it named as it is now, rename it, or create a new category? I also noticed the new builds failed to follow our naming conventions for the wiki (no profession tags in the name). --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 11:54, 16 December 2006 (CST)
- I made one build "for testing purposes". The W/any Warrior. The
"Skills and Attributes" is a copy from the game, the "Usage" is a
copy of the "Tactics" section from the website. I added a
"Suggested Skill Unlocks" section (copied over from the website), a
"GuildWiki notes" section (that I think should be there, so We, the
GW community, will suggest a secondary profession, another tactic,
some more skill unlocks, Like Lion's Comfort in place of Healing Signet.
of course these should be debated on the talk page of the build.)
and finally, a "Followup builds suggestions" section, that contains
links to 3~4 of the most popular PvP builds that we have in our
Tested builds category. Please discuss there addition, as well as
the overall premade builds format here. The name change of the
category can wait a bit IMHO. — Poki#3

- I made an Elementalist premade build, but it won't show in the

- Thanks to whoever put it right for the Elementalist, but could you please do it again with the new Assassin one, and also tell me how to do it right in the first place, so that if I do it again (which is likely) I can do it properly without problems? Thanks! Mask Of Insanity 13:44, 22 December 2006 (CST)
