[edit] 605 Tank Monk

Attribute Rank |

Divine Favor | 12 + 3 + 1 |
Protection Prayers | 12 + 1 |
The 605 Tank Monk's job is to be in the front taking all the damage. It will be able to use Protective Spirit and Spirit Bond on itself to effectively heal more damage than can be taken. Elemental Resistance is there to increase the amount of damage taken from certain foes so as to trigger Spirit Bond. Spell Breaker are there to ward off Nightmares or any other annoying spell casters. Note the build is called the 605 Monk but the person playing this role may end up having more health. As long as Spirit Bond heals for more than the damage you take with Protective Spirit on then you're in good shape. Sympathetic Visage is too help with Grasping Darknesses and sometimes coldfires. When agroing Coldfires keep Spellbreaker on as much as possible. Sympathetic Visage may be replace with Arcane Echo for easier killing of Coldfire Nights.

The Slave Monk's job is to throw on all 4 of its maintained enchantments (swapping headgear to achieve 16 attributes for both Protection and Smiting) and stay in the back. It brings Rebirth just in case the Tank Monk dies, and Arcane Echo and Shield of Judgment for Coldfire Nights.
[edit] Usage
At the start both monks will throw all their maintained enchantments on the 605 Tank Monk. The Tank Monk will simply just aggro enemies and use Protective Spirit and Spirit Bond on itself often to keep healed up. Because it has 605 health, anything attacking the Tank Monk will take full damage from Retribution and Holy Wrath and will die quickly. The Tank Monk should use Spellbreaker immediately whenever seeing Dying Nightmares. The Smite Monk should remove Holy Wrath and use Blessed Signet to regain energy to use Shield of Judgment whenever going up against Coldfire Nights.
[edit] Equipment
The 605 Tank Monk should be using as low armor as possible and consider removing the chest piece altogether. A +5 Energy Weapon with 20% Enchanting mod on it and an offhand with 20/20 Divine Favor and Protection Prayers each are useful.
The Slave Monk's armor doesn't matter. Likewise a +5 Energy Weapon with 20% Enchanting mod on it and an Offhand with 20/20 Smiting Prayers as one weaponset, and a -5 Energy Weapon with no offhand as another weaponset are both useful. This will help when it is time to use Shield of Judgment because once you remove Holy Wrath, you can switch to your +5 Energy Weapon/Offhand from the -5 Energy Weapon and gain a nice Energy boost along with whatever you may gain from using Blessed Signet.
The weapons aren't set in stone and you can easily get away with using Staves instead. Do keep in mind that a 20% Enchanting mod works very well on both Monks.
