This RANGER build utilizes a trap-->pull-->run over your traps techniqe to do AoE damage to the insects outside of Yohlon Haven in the Arkjok Ward explorable area. It also uses EoE so that the melee insects ,and the healers more importantly for the beginning, all die at once because they are so bunched up togethor.

  • You can replace Dryder's Defenses and Whirling Defense if you have a better protection skill for when they attack if you need to run away and if its got a better recharge for one of the skills.

[edit] Equipment

  • Full Druids Armor for the energy.
  • Hunter's Mask
  • Longbow for pulling the enemies
  • High Energy bonus staff for when your setting the traps and spirit.

[edit] Usage

  • Go to just out of the aggro range of where your target patrols. Then start setting using your skills in this order:

Serpent's Quickness, Dust Trap, Viper's Nest, Barbed Trap, Flame Trap, Dust Trap, Viper's Nest, Barbed Trap, Flame Trap, Edge of Extinction

After you cast Edge of Extinction in range of the traps but far enough from the enemys that they don't kill it, use the longbow to pull the mob towards you and run back to the traps but make sure that they are all in a group including monks and paragons so if you need to run in to bundle them up use Whirling Defense.then make sure that they all follow you togethor in a group then walk over your traps and BOOM watch them take 338 damage from traps + extra from Edge of Extinction, 9 seconds of poison, 7 seconds of blind, 21 seconds of bleeding, and 3 seconds of burning!

The only real counters are the monks not dying and they end up healing the other insects before they die and the traps not activating when the whole group is there.
