The Crazy Ranger specializes in Hammer Attacks and
Traps via high Expertise.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- Spam Wild Blow
and Irresistible Blow continously and interrupt
with Distracting Blow when needed.
- Energy management is
the tricky part, don't try to spam Traps, even with a high Expertise you will run out of Energy. (With 12 in Expertise, the Dust Trap still cost 13 and
Barbed Trap
cost 8)
- Stance help you to
tank, to chasse or to escape. Whirling Defense has a 60s cool down so use
it only against projectiles or when you're in trouble for
surviving.
- Switch with Wilderness Survival Mask when you trap
out of combat.
- Whirling Defense is great against Minion Master (12vs12) just make
sure you are the primary target of the Bone
Fiends. activate the stance and enjoy the extra damage.
Careful, the master can be hard to kill; they often run away and
are often monk too.
- If you get blind use Troll Unguent, and Traps if you are not the primary target.
- The trap can be use in many different ways:
- Out of combat to protect the area where your buddy stands (Monk, Elementalist).
- In combat IF you are not the primary target, use it in melee
during one of your Stance.
- In combat IF your spell caster allies are the primary target,
use it on him during one of your Stance.
- In 12V12 try to leave both Traps on control point.
- In 12V12 try to leave both Traps on bridge or high traffic passage.
[edit] Counters
- Blind and Weakness, although this is
lessened by traps.
- Energy denial
- Physical Damage

[edit] Trivia
The term "Crazy Ranger" comes from the fact that Hammer in
French ("Marteau") is also use to name crazy people.
