This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this
build is not viable.

This build is made for farming Hydras, but can farm many other monsters (i.e. Desert Griffons)
as well. It's good alternative for people who don't have a 55 Monk or Elementalist
farmer.
[edit] Equipment
- Before you aggro monsters create a spirit of Greater
Conflagration in a place where monsters won't attack it and
stay in its range.
- Then use Apply Poison and Elemental
Resistance which should give you (70+30+15+40+7=) 162 armor versus fire and physical damage.
- Attack hydras (but not more than 3 at one time, because Meteor won't let you heal
yourself) being sure to time any heals to alternate between any
knock down spells.
- As your attacks Poison the hydras, daze one of them and use Savage Shot for more damage or to quickly
interrut any spells that you may miss with normal rate-of-fire
attacks.
- Use Troll
Unguent (+10 health regeneration for 10 seconds heals you for 200)
and Ether Feast
(quick 99 health) to heal yourself as needed.
[edit] Variants
- The first run might seem hard, but the second will be much
easier and faster. Often a healer Henchman on the first run can
help reduce any difficulty with the learning curve.
- A Hydra's normal non-spell attacks (or other creature's
attacks) often are physical thus why Greater Conflagration is
needed as a ranger's armor is usually better agains an elemental
source.
- Often desert Hydras are farmed for their Dessicated Hydra Claws to obtain a
collector item from Mourn Drakespur.
