The Preservation Necro uses Soul Reaping to spam high-energy
Weapon/Healing Spells in Competitive Missions and Alliance Battles.
Using Preservation as a cheap spammable spirit, this necro can use
Spirit Transfer frequently while using Draw Spirit to stay mobile.
Preservation can aid in healing when the whole team is under
attack, and can also be left near important npcs to help keep them
alive.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
For Random Arenas, Draw Spirit can be taken out for a
Resurrection skill.
[edit] Equipment
- Anything will do, but HSR and HCT items can help a lot.
- Start by setting down Preservation
- Use Spirit Light to regularly heal allies while using Mend Body
and Soul to remove conditions
- Spirit Transfer is used for spike healing
- Resilient Weapon is effective against most casters while Weapon
of Warding helps counter attackers. Since you can only be effected
by one weapon spell, use Weapon of Warding if being targted by
both.
- Multiple Preservation Spirits can be set down if they're far
enough from eachother. Set down these sprits near important npcs
(Shrine npcs in Alliance Battles, Amber Mine guards in Aspenwood,
etc).
[edit] Counters
- Any anti-cast hexes such as Backfire
- Hexes that can reduce healing efficiency such as Scourge
Healing or Spoil Victor.
- Be sure not to stay too close to your spirit - aoe spells
targeting you may damage it.
- Enemy spirits can be used for Spirit Light and Spirit Transfer,
so use them to your advantage.
