[edit] Equipment
- Armor: Scar or Cabalist's Armor for more energy.
- Weapons: Idealy craft your weapons at Leviathan Pits weaponsmith: Telamon or Vasburg Armory weaponsmith: Gertrud: 20/20 Wailing Wand & 20/20 Bone Idol. This set will increase cast and recharge nicely.
- Weapon Staff: The Stonereaper (green)
[edit] Usage
1. Cast Essence Bond on the 55 Monk.
- Essence Bond will give you constant energy as long mobs are attacking the 55 Monk.
Wait for the monk to gather aggro before casting attack spells to be safe.
2. Cast (SS) Spiteful Spirit.
3. Cast Reckless Haste to speed up attacks to make SS more effective.
4. Spam Defile Enchantments and Desecrate Enchantments for constant damage.
5. Cast Suffering: you can see the effect more on Smite Crawler.
- They will remove Spiteful Spirit with Smite Hex.
- You will continue to do damage with Suffering, Defile Enchantmentsand Desecrate Enchantments.
6. Cycle (SS) Spiteful Spirit, Reckless Haste, Defile Enchantments, Desecrate Enchantments , Suffering.
- Spiteful Spirit will be ready for recast again.
- If the 55 Monk
dies.
- Use Rebirth to get him out of aggro range. If he has death penalty he will die again.
- You then use Resurrection Chant to bring him to life.
- You will have enough energy to cast Resurrection Chant right away because you get Energy from him dying from Rebirth without the 55 Monk getting additional death penalty.
[edit] Variants
- Suffering can be substituted with your choice of spells.
- Below are suggestions for replacing Suffering.
- Replace Suffering with Blood Ritual if you team up with a 55 Monk that does not have a energy management skill like Blessed Signet.
- Another option people like to use is Shadow of Fear or Awaken the Blood instead of Suffering.
[edit] Notes
- Keep in mind each time you Resurrect the 55 Monk you are basically saving yourself and the 55 Monk 1k, the cost to get to The Underworld (UW). If he is having a bad day, it will add up.
- Recast Essence Bond if a Dying Nightmare removes it.
- Take off Essence Bond when fighting mobs that do not attack fast like Dryders then reapply it when it's normal mobs again.
