This build takes advantage of the easy knockdown provided by either gale or shock, to create a devestating combo with Death Magic spells.

- Gale can be replaced with Shock for added bonus, however requires you to be closer to the target: touch range and thus comes with a risk.
- This build is best used in Alliance battles because of the exhaustion caused. However replacing Glyph of Lesser Energy with a generic resurrect makes this build viable in other arenas as well.
[edit] Equipment
- The armor that goes with your playstyle, this build requires a lot of energy so cabalist's armor might seem like the best idea. However the shock variant of this build could use the extra armor gained from other necromancer armor.
- Most staves will do, Ghial's Staff is an obvious choice, however Rajazan's Fervor in combination with Kole's Gauntlet will do great for the Shock variant.
[edit] Usage
As the alliance battle starts, use Storm Djinn's Haste to rush to the first and perhaps second capture point, once the first enemies are in sight begin with casting Glyph of Lesser Energy and find the target of your choice, no class in specific is stronger against this build than others so pick whatever you want. Start by casting Gale and following up directly with Fetid Ground. This will leave the target poisoned, damaged and still trying to get back up. Now just put on Parasitic Bond and you can commence spamming Discord doing a 115 damage per cast this will quickly cause the target to flee or panic, either way get rid of them. When low on health use either Consume Corpse or Taste of Pain to get health back, and use Storm Djinn's Haste whenever you need a speedboost. (Especially good for the shock version of the build)
[edit] Counters
Anti-knockdown stances/skills rend this build nearly completely useless. However these stances/skills are not seen often in alliance battles and thus should not pose much of a treat. Bringing an extra condition can easily resolve this.
Backfire etc, you have 0 hex protection and thus you are vurnable to all of them. The best way is to avoid them or cast through them and restart as a fresh new self from the Res Shrine.
[edit] Variants
Instead of Gale you can choose to bring Shock, this has no obvious advantage however the shock effect of a necromancer running up to someone using shock often can give you the edge. Also you can choose to replace any of the last four skills with extra (cover) hexes, conditions (Blinding Surge) or heals.
[edit] Notes
This could be run as an E/N as well, however the damage from discord would be a lot less. The exhaustion however would cause a lot less of a problem and thus an E/N could utilize this build in PvE.
