This build is an anti-caster build that uses daze. It uses a
lead attack and exhausting assault to skip the offhand attack. This
means no hex is required to start the chain, but it still poisons
your opponent with Entangling Asp and causes deep wounds with
Impale.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- Nightstalkers Armor + Runes of Attunement + Rune of Vigor
- Zealous Daggers of Fortitude, Energy +5
- Before battle locate optimal target, especially a monk, or any
other caster
- Cast Beguiling Haze to teleport to, daze, and interrupt your
opponent. At 14 Shadow Arts the daze condition lasts 7
seconds.
- Quickly follow up with your combo: Leaping Mantis Sting,
Entangling Asp, Exhausting Assault, Impale, and Signet of Toxic
Shock
- Exhausting Assault allows you to skip the offhand attack and
has an increased chance of causing of exhaustion due to double cast
time from daze
- Beguiling Haze, Entangling Asp, and Signet of Toxic Shock all
have a recharge of 20 seconds. You can continue to attack with
Leaping Mantis Sting, Exhausting Assault, and Impale while they
recharge
- If you are under pressure cast Feigned Neutrality and run to
healer/safety while you gain health
- For melee you can skip Beguiling Haze. Try to use Exhausting
Assault to interrupt Healing Signet, Troll Unguent, Resurrection
Signet, etc.
[edit] Counters
- Blind, anti-melee
- Energy denial
[edit] Variants
- Trade Leaping Mantis Sting for Disrupting Stab
