The Vimsin inflicts conditions, and then uses the elite shout "Victory is Mine!" to replenish its health and energy. It taps from the warrior's Tactics line to increase it's survability, abandoning the usual Shadow Arts defenses.

[edit] Equipment

  • Nighstalker's chestpiece and legpiece. Shrouded mask, armpiece and feetpiece.
  • Zealous Daggers of Fortitude

[edit] Usage

Choose a target and use Siphon Speed on it. Then approach it and use Black Spider Strike and Twisting Fangs. Use Malicious Strike as often as possible. Use "Victory is Mine!" to replenish your Health and Energy, if your health gets too low use the Healing Signet. Use "Watch Yourself!" once it's charged.

[edit] Counters

  • Standard anti-melee counters
  • Hex Removal, it will mess up your chain
  • Condition removal

[edit] Variants

Signet of Malice is the wild card in this build. Healing Signet can also be dropped if you're confident in your monk.

  • If you're finding it hard to survive, replace it with a Stance from the Warrior Stance line, such as Disciplined Stance.
  • For a more offensive approach, switch it for "Fear Me!" for extra energy denial, Burst of Aggression for IAS, Wild Blow for stance removal and another critical hit or Black Mantis Thrust for extra damage, cripple and another condition for ViM and Malicous Strike.

[edit] Notes

When paired with a Mesmer carrying Fevered Dreams, this could also be a very powerful build in PvE.
