[edit] Attributes and Skills
![]() ![]() |
Attribute Rank |
---|---|
Dagger Mastery | 12 + 1 + 3 |
Shadow Arts | 10 + 1 |
Critical Strikes | 8 + 1 |
The optional skill slot can be filled with a self heal such as Shadow Refuge, Death's Retreat, or whatever else fits your playing style, you may want to include some way to prevent your attacks from being blocked.
[edit] Equipment
- I suggest Nighstalker's Insignias for the +15 armor while attacking, or Radiant Insignias. Required runes are a Superior Vigor, Superior Dagger Mastery, Minor Shadow Arts, and Minor Critical Strikes
- +5 Energy Zealous Daggers of Fortitude
- +5 Energy Icy (or other element) Daggers of Fortitude
- +5 Energy Sundering Daggers of Fortitude
[edit] Usage
Begin by selecting a target, preferably one with a low AL, such as a caster type. Try to make your approach as inconspicuous as possible, without a way of making your attacks unblockable, this build relies on good old fashioned surprise tactics. To begin your assault, use Death's Charge, and immediately follow up with Burst of Aggression and Leaping Mantis Sting, if your target was moving, it will now be crippled. Finish the chain with Fox Fangs and Horns of the Ox. When the target's HP falls below 50%, follow through with Moebius Strike and continue spamming Horns of the Ox and Moebius Strike. You may sometimes wish to not kill the enemy with Horns of the Ox, as it has a relatively long recharge compared to your other two attack skills, and may prevent the continuation of your attack chain on the next target.
[edit] Counters
Standard Anti-Melee counters apply. A few include: Faintheartedness, Blind, Weakness, Insideous Parasite, etc etc.
Focus Fire: This build has very weak self healing, and will go down under any sort of focused attention in pvp
[edit] Variants
Replace Death's Charge with Dash as a fast recharging anti-kite skill.
