The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this
build is not viable.

The Rampaging Locust focuses on fast damage with a high
critical percent using the skill Locust's Fury in combination with Heket's
Rampage. It deals damage faster than most other assassin
builds, receives a critical hit more, and ultimately reaps the
benefits of Way of Perfection and Assassin's
Remedy. Its attack chain merely has the purpose of "softening"
a target, by going staight through defenses, stances or spells (Golden Fox
Strike and Fox
Fangs) and causing Deep Wound and Bleeding (Twisting Fangs)
so that the build's main offense may have a higher chance to
succeed.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
- If you're one of those "Res-Sticklers", you may want to
consider replacing Assassin's Remedy for a Res. Sig., seeing as how
most PvE monks now-a-days carry condition removal.
- You can also switch out Assassin's Remedy for Signet of
Malice.
- If you're uncomfortable with Way of Perfection as your heal, you
can also use Feigned Neutrality.
[edit] Equipment
- Nightstalker's Armor with the
appropriate rune set up, maybe a few runes of attunement.
- Zealous daggers of Enchanting are reccomended.
- Before entering battle, cast your enchantments. (You may want
to cast Locust's Fury -> Way of
Perfection -> Assassin's Remedy, to give yourself a
larger chance of keeping your main offense up.) Maintain these
enchantments at all times, it's best to leave combat for a few
seconds in order to do so.
- Upon completed setup, engage your target using your attack
chain, as many skills as you can to lower the enemy's health to as
low as possible. Once this has been done, use Heket's
Rampage.
- Repeat these processes as many times as necessary (though twice
is typically the max on any one target), for energy management is
not an issue.
- If you should happen to target an enemy using blocking or
evading skills, either switch to another target, or rely soley on
Golden
Fox Strike and Fox
Fangs (though it's probably best that you simply ignore them
for last, seeing as how your main offense, your fast strikes, will
be completely negated).
[edit] Counters
- Enchantment stripping (though a minimal threat seeing as how
your skills are all nearly-spammable.)
- Blindness.
- Blocking and Evasion can become a hassle to cope with and will
also hinder your healing.
- Anti-melee skills like Spiteful Spirit or Empathy.
