[edit] Guerilla Ranger

This Assassin/Ranger is mainly purposed for hit and run. First attacking your foe from distance with a bow, then mantaining Aura of Displacement upon you and encountering the foe, using the Dagger Mastery skill chain. When you take too much damage you can simply return to your original position and flee from the heat of the battle.

[edit] Equipment

  • Armor by choice, but with Radiant Insignia on all of the armor pieces.
  • Superior Vigor and Runes of Attunement on all remaining armor pieces.
  • A shortbow with 15^50, 20^20 and +30.
  • Daggers with 15^while enchanted, 20^20 and +30.

[edit] Usage

When you approach a group, first cast Critical Eye on yourself. Then try to use Keen Arrow only, Savage Shot should only be used when your target casts a important spell, which you can interrupt then. When you've weakened your target, shadow step to him with Aura Of Displacement, use Golden Lotus Strike followed by Fox Fangs and Death Blossom. Always keep Critical Eye on yourself! When you did this, you can use your skill chain again. When you take to much damage, you can retreat by stop maintaining Aura Of Displacement.

  • Skill like Shatter Enchantment are pretty hard. This will deal some hard damage and put you back to your place while you might be in a skill chain.
  • Blindness or Weakness
  • Blackout could be deadly when you're doing your skill chain.

[edit] Variants

  • Critical Defenses when countering heavy melee damage dealers.
  • Disrupting Accuracy, for even more interrupt.
  • A resurrection skill when using this build in another arena.
  • Favorable Winds for additional damage, however this is not recommended because you don't spend the full time firing arrows.
