[edit] Equipment

  • A mixture between Shrouded and Nightstalker's armor, as well as a Keen Mask is preferable
  • A Poisonous dagger tang would extend the poison duration from Falling Spider

[edit] Usage

The usual apporach to any foe is to cast Shadow Refuge, Heart of Shadow prior to engaging(if you expect to be targeted first), and using skills in the following order:

Notice the repeated-knockdown, poison, and spiking effect of that simple, 5-move combo.

[edit] Counters

Blinders and cripplers can prevent Holy Strike and Falling Spider from being utilized to the fullest, though Palm Strike damages regardless.

[edit] Notes

The knockdown capability of the build gives it the ability to disable fleeing or slow-casting foes. Add to that it's semi-spiking and armor-ignoring holy, unclassified damage(Palm Strike) and you have an effective offensive build.

[edit] Trivia

  • The word 'syngel' is derived from the nouns 'synergy', which implies the colloboration between the skills, and 'angel', which implies the holy(smiting) attributes of the build. 'Syn' is also a variation of the widely used nickname for Assassins--"sins".
  • Falling Spider is the "closing-in angel" move.
