The Assassin/Monk Critical Smiter uses it's fast attacks to
multiply Strength of Honor. As this build utilizes Critical
Strikes, it provides a greater chance of gaining additional energy
while attacking (which somewhat counteracts the energy degeneration
from Strength of Honor).
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
Before battle, use Strength of Honor and use Recall on your
monk. When going into battle use Critical Eye. During battle,
repeatedly use the following pattern of attacks (in order):
Unsuspecting Strike, Palm Strike, Critical Strike. In the case that
you lose too much health, simply take off your Recall from your
monk and use Dash if needed to flee farther. In the case that a
fellow party member dies, use your resurrection skill.
[edit] Counters
- Knock down the assassin and then blind them.
- Mesmers can use Spirit Shackles and (optionally) Mind Wrack to go along
with it.
[edit] Variants
- Recall can be replaced with Bane Signet. Bane Signet can be useful when you
are low on energy or if needed when facing another melee
class.
- Beware of running out of energy.
