[edit] Equipment
A set of fiery with fortitude or enchanting... your choice.
Make sure your armor is a full Shrouded with a Major Critical Strikes and Major Dagger Mastery rune with a Bladed Mask. Also don't forget 2 attunement runes and a superior vigor (if you want, or you could use a 3rd attune if you want to).
[edit] Usage
Keep Conjure Flame on as long as you can. Start off by choosing your target and casting Mark of Rodgort on them. Next trap and cover them with Shadow Prison. Use Black Lotus strike to recover the energy lost from the spell. Follow with Black Spider Strike. Then Finish with Twisting Fangs. Use Dash to catch any runners and Deadly Paradox + Feigned Neutrality for regen.
[edit] Counters
Basic anti-melee counters always apply. Hex Removals will also hinder this build if you aren't quick to cover with Shadow Prison.
[edit] Variants
I've played without Shadow Prison (using Aura of Displacement for the sake of an escape plan) almost as effectively, but the slowdown is almost needed. Also, if you wanted to replace Shadow Prison with Assassin's Promise and replace Dash with Dark Prison for a snare, then you can make a build with better energy management.
[edit] Notes
I've been using this build without issues for several months, and have been complimented on its during ABs which I still find a little odd. xD Also, this build is excellent for ABs and CMs, and with a little tweaking I'm sure you could make it quite effective in any other PvP arena.
