The Silencing Harrier makes use of the dervish's
enchantments and stance to improve his attack and movement speed,
and silences the ennemy thanks to the Golden Skull Strike for
several seconds, leaving casters defenceless.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- A full Nightstalker's armor set.
- Zealous daggers of fortitude with a "Strength And Honor"
inscription.
- Find a target, a caster if possible.
- Move out and approach your target, then cast Harrier's Grasp
and Whirling Charge.
- Use Golden Lotus Strike, Golden Skull Strike and Horns of the
Ox, then Malicious Strike, and finish the combo with Impale.
- Keep attacking to prevent the target from casting and use
Malicious Strike as soon as you can, or run away if you are under
heavy pressure.
- If your target isn't a caster, you can go on without using the
Harrier's Grasp and the Whirling Charge. Your attacks will still
hit if you aren't enchanted.
[edit] Counters
- Blindness.
- Insidious Parasite, Clumsiness, Empathy, all the usual
anti-warrior stuff.
- Fast condition removal, or another foe who could possibly
dismiss the condition.
[edit] Variants
- Using Guiding Hands instead of Harrier's Grasp. Your target
won't be able to block your attacks, but as a drawback he will be
able to run away with more ease. Take care, as Guiding Hands will
only work on the 4 next attacks, even if you didn't use any attack
skill. Also, keep in mind that a dual attack counts as two
attacks.
- Replace Impale with Feigned Neutrality or Shadow Refuge for
some self-heal, at the expense of your overall damage output.
