This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this
build is not viable.
This build was voted unfavored for the following reasons:
- insufficient spike damage
- no IAS

This build allows you to deal continuous damage with sword
skills while using Balanced Stance as a shield against critical
damage and knockdown. The use of Dragon Slash will quickly regain
adrenaline so you will be able to "spam" other sword skills like
Standing Slash and Silverwing Slash/Galrath Slash.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- Legionnaire Armor Set
- Either a Sundering or a Furious sword hilt.
- Rune of Major Strength
- Rune of Major Swordsmanship
- Rune of Minor Tactics
- Rune of Major/Superior Vigor
Start off with Balanced Stance. As soon as Standing Slash is
ready, use it. Follow up with Silverwing Slash then Dragon Slash.
At this time you should be able to reuse Standing Slash. Once
Balanced Stance is over, use Pure Strike this way your attack will
not be evaded/blocked. Lastly, use Plague Touch to transfer any
unwanted conditions.
[edit] Counters
- Mesmers that specialize in anti-warrior hexes, which do not
cause conditions, like Empathy and Imagined Burden to diminish your
effectiveness in combat.
- Warriors and Rangers who use Gladiator's Defense or blocking
stances will block most of your attacks except Pure Strike.
You can replace Silverwing Slash with Final Thrust for a
potential double damage attack when your target is below 50%
health. Use it wisely, however, as it will take all your remaining
adrenaline away and doesn't, therefore, combine with Dragon Slash very
well.
