This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this build is not viable. |
This is a high pressure Warrior similar to the Bunny Thumper but with more damage due to high Strength and Hammer Mastery and importantly, self condition removal. The build uses the elite skill Flourish and a carefully sequenced order of attacks to maintain a cycle of 100% energy regain for every skill used.

[edit] Equipment
- Gladiator's Armor
- Sundering Haft, Hammer Mastery Grip
[edit] Usage
- Start with Crushing Blow then Irresistable Blow, Griffon's Sweep and finally Flourish. This should result in +21 energy if you get all 3 on cooldown. Follow this with Irresistible Blow then Griffon's Sweep then repeat the first combination. The basic rule is to always use Irresistible blow and Griffon's Sweep after Flourish, then use the triple combo. This way the cooldowns of all 4 skills are always kept in sync with each other. I recommend you practice the cycle on trainer dummies first.
- The energy gain from this combo if timed well will keep you permanently supplied even if your attacks miss and therefore able to spam your +damage attack skills constantly. If your regen cycle gets out of sync and unsustainable just auto attack for a few seconds and regenerate.
- Rush lasts 19 seconds with your strength so it will be easy to keep it up almost permenently.
- Use Plague Touch to remove crippling conditions such as blind and weakness, but not to often as it will unbalance your regen cycle. Watch your energy carefully when using this and adjust your combo timing accordingly.
- Use Hammer Bash to knockdown opponents followed by the start of your main combo to get the deep wound from Crushing Blow. Do not break your regen cycle for an out of sync deep wound, Hammer Bash can be used any time but only use Crushing Blow after it if its part of your normal cycle.
- Be careful not to run out of energy completely as this will result in long downtime as your method of renewal requires you to spend energy to make energy.
- If your target uses a Blocking skill against you you can use Irresistible Blow first to go for a knockdown and follow up with Crushing Blow to get a deep wound.
[edit] Counters
- Usual Hexes
- Energy denial
[edit] Variants
- Swap Griffon's Sweep for Bull's Strike for more knockdown ability. The sequence of attacks for 100% regain with this change is:-
Crushing Blow > Bull's Strike > Irresistible Blow > Flourish.
Bull's Strike > Irresistible Blow > Crushing Blow > Irresistable Blow > Bull's Strike > Flourish. Then repeat the second combination continually.
This gives you more knockdowns but abit a bit less damage due to no bonus on stationary targets and the 10s over 4s cooldown.
- Swap Rush for a IAS skill but this will not be spammable due to energy constraints (See Notes).
- Hammer Bash could be swapped for Wild Blow for a stance killer.
[edit] Notes
- When Nightfall is released Griffon's Sweep can be replaced by Counterattack. Counterattack gives +6 energy when hitting an attacking foe which gives the build more energy to play with and makes an IAS addition more practical.
- The best IAS would be the Nightfall skill Burst of Aggression as your high Strength gives a 10s duration and the penalty of losing all adrenaline has a small effect on the build overall.
