This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this
build is not viable.
This build was voted unfavored for the following reasons:
- poor choice of mesmer skills, battle rage and spells just
doesn't work either
|
The Paradox Warrior is a unique blend of damage dealing
and disruption. This build can be extremely effective in GvG, as
most players would ignore warriors first.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- Gladiator's Armor set is preferred.
- Vampiric, Zealous, and Ebon Sword of Fortitude.
- Build up adrenaline and use Battle Rage to experience faster movement and
adrenaline gain.
- Use your sword combo around targets near 65% of their Health to
deal significant damage.
- Heal yourself at the same time draining their Energy with Ether Feast.
- Disrupt casters using long-casting spells with Power Drain.
- Use Signet of Humility to shutdown your
target's elite skill.
- Use Resurrection Signet to quickly revive
fallen allies.
[edit] Counters
- Anti-warrior hexes and conditions apply to this build.
- Snares that will slow you down or spells that would reduce
adrenaline gain.
- Wild Blow and
Wild Strike
will end your Battle Rage, thus prematurely ending all your
adrenaline.
- This build is less about being a heavy tank and more about
applying pressure while at the same time disrupting and shutting
down your target.
- This build is also very effective against the mainstream of Build:W/E Shock Axe build as it will
shutdown its most valuable skill, Eviscerate.
