[edit] Usage

  • The main points of view in collecting skills are:
    • Low activation time
    • High damage, usually its a self healing too.
    • Do damage against mass foes in the area.
  • Stand in the second row mainly!
  • If the tanks do their job, cast Life Transfer to the healer, or high-damager foe, cast Life Siphon to the others.
  • If foes are in group, cast Deathly Swarm, and if your health is below 60%, cast Unholy Feast.
  • Blood Ritual is used as a quick supply of energy for the party, especially Batterying the Monks.
  • To prevent the enemy in animating of corpses, or simply do a big damage to ALL nearby foes, use Putrid Explosion. The MM necros will not love you:)
  • When the situation needs a fast big damage, use Shadow Strike or Vampiric Touch (bar 3nd place skill), for example in the neverending-main-mob-killing, or against influenced fighters in the second row. I think Vampiric Touch is better than Shadow Strike in this situation, the short walk to the enemy and +5 energy is disadvantage, I have no doubt, but the 3/4 Activation Time and 2 Recharge time is better, than 2 and 8 (or in Vapmiric Gaze case 1 and 5). Who use what? Self taste.
  • A few numbers: The full spike (Life Siphon->Life Transfer->Unholy Feast->(Vampiric Touch->Vampiric Bite:||)) takes 6.25 seconds (if you stay near the enemy) and does 4..12 health degeneration what you get as Health regeneration and deals 68..253 damage, what you get as life stealing.
