This build was voted unfavored for the following reasons:

A Necromancer build with emphasis on self sustained healing of
minions and the minion master. This is achieved through the synergy
of Blood
Renewal, Blood of the Master and Aura of the
Lich.

Recommend:
- Position yourself at the back of the group.
- Cast Aura of the Lich
- After you have summoned your first minion(s), cast Dark
Bond.
- Cast Blood Renewal.
- Cast Blood of the Master.
- Start periodic Blood Renewal / Blood of the Master cast
cycles.
- Maintain Dark Bond and Aura of the Lich

BR/BotM Cycle explained
- The interaction of Aura of the Lich and Blood of the Master /
Blood Renewal is the core of this build. Aura of the Lich cuts down
health loss through sacrifices to 1/4. Assuming you have a maximum
health of 450 and Aura of the Lich is up, you have a temporary
maximum of 225HP.
- Blood Renewal/BR (recycle time 10 seconds) : costs 28HP
sacrifice, but heals for a total of 240HP. (10 seconds of 5 pipes
regen + 140). The net gain is 212 HP
- Blood of the Master/BotM (recycle time 2 seconds) : costs
28HP sacrifice when you control 10 minions. Less when you control
less minions.
Theoretically you can cast BotM 5 times per BR : 28x5
=140HP sacrifice. In the course of this BR/BotM cycle you will gain
212HP from BR and lose 140 from BotM, netting you 72HP.. However,
realistic are about 2-4 BotM casts per cycle and results in a
higher health gain.
[edit] Counters
- Aura of the Lich and Dark Bond are Enchantment spells, which
means they can be stripped or removed. *This is a PVE build, so
this is something you have to deal with primarily in Factions. Stay
at the back of the group and avoid Mesmers.
- Cast Dark Bond after Aura of the Lich, so it works as a cover
enchantment for Aura of the Lich.
- Keep an eye on your enchantments, especially Aura of the Lich.
Don't start a cycle when you are under heavy attack or suffer from
high degeneration.
- Occasionally Blood Renewal will stripped or removed, because
for the duration of the health gain it's an enchantment.
- This build is quite good at maintaining an army, so you can
easily use other corpse exploiting skills, e.g. wells.
