This build uses Soul Bind and spammable Mesmer hexes to shut down melee opponents, while providing additional DPS as a side benefit. It is intended for PvP venues.

[edit] Equipment
- Armor of Choice, with best Vigor rune possible.
- HCT/HSR Curses staves/wands/focii.
[edit] Usage
- Cast Soul Bind on enemies that use melee or ranged attacks. Immediately cover this hex with Faintheartedness or, ideally, Parasitic Bond.
- Use Wastrel's Worry to as a fast recharging hex to trigger Soul Barbs and Soul Bind. These skills recharge fairly quickly, so spread them around to hinder as many opponents as possible.
- Cast Wastrel's Demise to spread some damage around, preferably to casters.
- Use Signet of Lost Souls to regain health and energy.
- Use Resurrection Signet to revive fallen allies.

- Dazed.
- Heavy hex removal, such as Divert Hexes.
- This build is a caster/soft target, and cannot withstand concentrated fire for excessive periods of time. However, the threat posed by melee characters is somewhat mitigated by the build's skill setup.

- Conjure Phantasm for quick recharging health degeneration.
- Desecrate Enchantments/Defile Enchantments for damage.
- Illusion of Haste to kite.
- Accumulated Pain or Phantom Pain as a source of Deep Wound.

The points in Domination Magic are not core to the build, and can be re-allocated to permit the usage of other skills that synergize well with this build.
