[edit] Overview
This build is designed to take advantage of the Discord elite
skill. It is a low-cost skill with a quick recharge, that deals a
steady amount of armor-ignoring damage. The build is best
complemented by teammates that can inflict hexes and
conditions.
[edit] Skillset
- Pick a target. Since the damage ignores armor, pretty much
anyone's fair game.
- Cast Enfeeble and Parasitic Bond (or Faintheartedness if it's a
Ranger, Warrior, or Assassin type).
- Cast Arcane Echo.
- Start spamming Discord.
- Use Consume Corpse to regenerate health and energy, or to
escape when necessary.
[edit] Counters
[edit] Variations
- Arcane Echo is not strictly necessary, as Discord's recharge
makes it usually unnecessary to echo it.
- For Alliance battles and such, one might want to take Verata's Gaze or
Verata's
Aura. With the high death magic rating of this build, it's well
suited to holding minions stolen from an enemy.
- Parasitic Bond can be replaced by Malaise for use against casters.
- Deathly
Chill or Deathly Swarm might be taken for damage against
enemies that remove hexes or conditions, which render Discord
useless.
- Add in a hex/condition removal skill of choice.
