The N/E Flame Reaper uses the high damage spells of the Elementalist and the phenomenal energy management from Soul Reaping and Reaper's Mark to create an alternative Necro build capable of holding it's own in battle.

- Scar Pattern Armor is preferred.
- Bloodstained Boots.
- any +15/-1 focus, such as the focus provided by Kraviec the Cursed, combined with a fire wand, such as Rago's Flame Wand.
[edit] Usage
- Cast Fire Attunement before the battle. Allow your energy to recharge back to max.
- Hex your foe with Reaper's Mark; you now have 30 seconds to kill your foe.
- Chain Rodgort's Invocation, Liquid Flame, Immolate, Signet of Sorrow together into a nice spiker damage combo. Keep casting Immolate and Signet of Sorrow until Rodgort's Invocation and Liquid Flame are completely recharged.
NOTE: Signet of Sorrow instantly recharges if corpses are nearby making this a free, spammable damage spell.
- If your foe is under 50% health, cast Signet of Lost Souls for a quick boost in health and energy.

- Replace Reaper's Mark with Icy Veins for an additional damage dealing damage at the cost of energy management.
- Replace Rodgort's Invocation with Fireball for a much cheaper damage spell... at the cost of an extra 50 damage per cast.
- Replace Signet of Lost Souls with Aura of Restoration for a more consistent healing source that is triggered with each spell cast...at the cost of lower total health gain.
- Swap out Reaper's Mark for a cheaper Animate Bone Minions, freeing up an Elite spell spot... at the cost of less energy gain.
- Swap out Reaper's Mark for Elemental Attunement for an alternative method of energy management... exact gain/loss is currently unresearched.

- Signet of Lost Souls could be a risky healing method if you can't quickly spike your foes below 50% health. Aura of Restoration could offer you a more consistent, yet lower amount of healing, as it is triggered with each spell cast.
- A reliable method of decent healing is a weakness of this particular build. Dealing damage and energy management are alternately its strengths.
- Please note that this build is not attempting to compete with the damage-dealing ability of an Elementalist primary, thus should not be compared so. This is only meant to provide players with another alternative Necro build that works.
