The RoD Bonder was built for PvP and maximizes the protective
capabilities of the monk along with the ability to generate damage.
Although Smithing Prayers are not effective for dealing damage,
this build uses the bonder's flexible slots to deal some damage,
while still healing with divine boon and several protection spells.
This build is relatively flexible because it can switch to a more
damage dealing or a more protective version.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- A normal set: a 20/20 Protective Icon and a +5 energy weapon
with an +20% enchanting mod.
- A high energy set: a 15/-1 Protective Icon with +45 hp while
enchanted and a halves casting 20% protective wand with 15/-1.
- A low energy set: any pvp shield with +45 hp while enchanted
and an axe, inscribed with -5 energy (and 15% damage)
- Apply Life Bond to your party. Keep it up at all times.
- Apply Balthazar's Spirit to yourself.
- When the fight starts, apply divine boon and use both reversal
skills for minor heals (when your allies go under 85%)
- Only use Zealous Benediction when your party members go under
50% health. This will usually recover them to over 85% health,
because of the divine boon bonus.
- Do not forget to use Blessed Signet whenever you are not
casting.
- If you run low on energy (<25% of max), either wait for
recharge, or remove divine boon and continue with healing with
Zealous Benediction. Switch to high energy set only when absolutely
needed.
- If you have skills such as Panic, Wither
and Malaise on you,
switch to your low energy set. Be aware of the damage Wither and
Malaise now inflict.
