This build uses Life Bond and Shield of Regeneration to counter damage and provide strong healing. The skills Glyph of Lesser Energy and Blessed Signet are used for energy Management. This build is meant to be used in TA or RA.

• Armor
  • Life armor is suggested
  • Protection Scalp Design
• Weapons
  • Anything that increases enchantment length by 20%
  • First offhand: Shield
  • Second offhand: Protection Prayers Focus
• Runes
  • Minor Protection Prayers
  • Minor Divine favor
  • Superior Vigor

[edit] Usage

• Put Life Bond on your teammates and Balthazar's Spirit on yourself.
• Use Blessed Signet to regain energy
• If you're up against any kind of Shutdown-Hexers, cast Holy Veil on yourself
• Cast Shielding Hands on a teammate under attack, to take away pressure.
• Use Shield of Regeneration to counter damage and degeneration
• Use Dismiss Condition for condition removal and healing (DC always heals when the target is enchanted)
• The bonds will usually fill you up with energy.
• Frequently use Blessed Signet or Glyph of Lesser Energy when you're low on energy (Happens very rarely).
• Use Holy Veil as Hex Removal.

• Daze
• Armor ignoring damage
• Knockdown
• Anti-caster mesmer spells such as Diversion
• Enchantment Removal, especially when followed by Blackout.

When you go down, it takes some time to get your bonds up again.

[edit] Variants

• Gift of Health can replace Glyph of Lesser Energy when you're comfortable with Blessed Signet.
