[edit] Introduction
The IW Anti-Caster Is a build for designed for PvP, its main goal is to shutdown
casters, but when used properly, and with at good team at your
back, any enemy can fall prey to it.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- Enchanter's Armor
- Sword or Axe with Energy bonus. (Totem Axe
Max Dmg Req 9 Axe Mastery Energy +5)
- Left hand
weapon with max Energy bonus. (Inscribed Chakram Req 10
Domination Energy +12 Health +42 While Enchanted)
- Pick on a caster, usually the team healer or any that is
already being targeted.
- Approach the target and cast Illusionary Weaponry
- Use Sympathetic Visage to cover it
- You can choose to cast Conjure Phantasm on the target for more
effectiveness and higher damage overtime.
- Use Frenzy then cast
Blackout. This will
cause you and your target's skill bar to become useless. In the
case of any caster, this is a huge disadvantage.
- After the 5 seconds, the very first thing your opponent will
do, or should do, will be to heal, remove your IW or to remove
Conjure Phantasm. Keep interrupting using using Shame, Signet of
Disruption and/or Power Spike until combination is ready to be
re-used. (even if IW is cooling down but all other skills are
ready, you can still use the combination, provided that IW is still
ongoing.) Also, remember to keep Flurry up.
- Redo all steps until Illusionary Weaponry is used up.
- When IW is used up, it will take another 10 seconds to re-use
it. At this period of time, just keep interrupting target's
spells/skills as best as possible.
[edit] Counters
- Very dependent on IW. It is a major problem if IW is removed
before Sympathetic Visage is cast to cover it.
- No healing skills.
- Target being healed by their team's healer.
- Energy can be used up rather quickly.
