The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this build is not viable.

This build was voted unfavored for the following reasons:

  • Generally unuseful.
  • Performs poorly compared to other, similiar builds.
  • Highly counterable.

This is a lame attempt to make use of Keystone Signet, which is possibly the most useless elite there is. The Mesmer Primary is just to pump Keystone signet's attribute level so it disables for a shorter duration.

  • Savant's Armor for +10 armor in a stance (Mantras are usually stances, in this case it is)
  • 20/20 inspiration wand and focus (hard to get the wand, try using Garbok's Cane)

[edit] Usage

  • Mantra of Inscriptions MUST be kept up at ALL times. It reduces recharge time of all signets (which includes Keystone Signet).
  • Cast Life Bond on party members you feel need bonding to resist damage. Do this primarily on Elementalists (they are the squishy-ist and have long cast times) and Warriors (for energy since they usually are in the frontlines).
  • Cast Balthazar's Spirit on yourself. This nets one energy whenever someone you bonded gets hit with anything that deals damage.
Lifesteal and degen is not counted.
  • Use Leech Signet to maintain energy.
  • When the going gets tough and you are less than 10 energy, use Ether Signet for a 20+ point energy boost.
  • Keystone Signet is used to recharge signets as necessary. Keep in mind the 20 second recharge, as this can be reduced by Mantra of Inscriptions to around 10 seconds (whcihc is much more manageable).
  • Hex Eater Signet should be used on Hexes like Deep Freeze, Suffering, Shadow of Fear, etc.
