This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this
build is not viable.
This build was voted unfavored for the following reasons:
|
The Illusionary Geomancer is built around the Mesmer elite skill Illusionary Weaponry. It augments
the armor of an Elementalist to allow them to fight in melee and
do large spell damage to one target.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
[edit] Equipment
- A sword or axe of Enchanting (at least 10%).
- An Illusion Magic focus that halves recharge times of Illusion
Spells.
The usage is almost the same than a standard Illusionary Weaponry user, with the
added bonus of Earth armor and attacks for spike damage.
[edit] Counters
- Since this build relies heavily on Enchantment Spells, spells like Shatter
Enchantment and Dark Apostasy can reduce the effectiveness of
this build greatly. If using this build, keep a staff or other
weapon at hand, just in case. Distortion allows great protection,
since it is a Stance, not and Enchantment.
[edit] Variants
- Distortion
can be replaced by Sliver Armor to do damage back at attacker, but
at the expense of more energy, longer recharge time, and adding yet
another enchantment.
