The Enchanted Scythe build is focused on spamming close range area damage. It is useful in general PvE area. In the higher end areas, a monk is needed to travel long distances.

[edit] Equipment
- Any armor could be used but extra energy and energy recovery is recommended due to the high energy cost of most of the spells.
- Preferred Scythe stat possibilities are: 9-41 damage, +20% damage, and 15% damage while over 50% health
- Extra long enchantments are not necessary because the enchants are stripped almost immediately.
[edit] Usage
- As soon as you enter an area cast Faithful Intervention for extra protection while in battle.
- When you are ready to attack, cast Vital Boon for health during the later portion of the fight.
- Get next to your target. Then cast, Heart of Holy Flame and Grenth's Fingers causing initial area damage to the target.
- Use Pious Assault twice to do direct damage and remove Heart of Holy Flame and Grenth's Fingers which will set them on fire and cripple them.
- Continue to recast Heart of Holy Flame and Grenth's Fingers and remove them with Pious Assault.
- Signet of Pious Light can be used in the same way as Pious Assault if you or a teammate are running low on health. Signet of Pious Light will need to be used multiple times in succession because of its low stats.
- You can also strip Vital Boon for a small health boost during battle.
Note: The enchantments can be cast in any order that you choose and the order of casting will normally change due to certain circumstances.
[edit] Counters
Any enemy that strips enchantments will hurt this build. There is no way to protect yourself from this except having a interrupter watch for these enemies at all times.
[edit] Variants
Lightbringer's Gaze can be replaced with any other AoE enchantment when you are not fighting Abaddon's minions. It can also be replaced with any of the avatars that you see fit.
[edit] Notes
This build is effective as a PvE build. One downside to this build is that Prot Monks have a hard time putting their enchantments on you. Pay close attention to the enchantments that you are stripping when a Prot Monk is with you. I did not choose to add a elite to this build only because I did not see it fitting in with the general style of the build.
