Elementalist
From GuildWiki
Elementalists are the classical fireball and lightning bolt spellcasters of the game. Their power lies in their ability to do a considerable amount of damage in a short time, as well as provide support. Their spells can deal AoE damage or spike damage, and they can cast wards and hexes to hinder foes or protect allies. The patron deity of each elementalist varies according to their specialization.
The Primary Elementalist's base armor provides low protection, +10 Energy and +2 Energy Recovery. An Elementalist can choose between +10 Armor versus elemental and an extra 10 against one type of elemental damage, or armor with no specific protection boost. A starting Primary Elementalist can expect to have 30 Maximum Energy and 4 Energy Recovery.
Energy Storage is the Elementalist's primary attribute, which means it can only be used by a primary Elementalist. Because of this, primary Elementalists are often paired with another caster class as secondary (Necromancer, Mesmer, or Monk), strictly to gain the benefits of Energy Storage.
Glyphs are exclusive to the Elementalist profession as is inflicting Exhaustion (an energy reducing penalty) upon themselves through the use of powerful spells.
