This build is not favored by the
GuildWiki community.
The general consensus among users of GuildWiki is that this
build is not viable.
This build was voted unfavored for the following reasons:
|
This mesmer utilizes the powerful stance, Mantra of Recovery to partially negate the
long recharge of many mesmer skills, and allows this build to interrupt and
remove hexes and enemy enchantments with great efficiency. This
build is designed for PvE.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
Skills for the optional slot:
- Empathy as a damage
source and something to spread on melee monsters.
- Shame if there is
difficulty interrupting monsters.
- Spirit of Failure if there is difficulty
keeping energy up and to reduce damage from monsters.
- Diversion to
shut down monsters that spam spells that recharge fairly
quickly.
- Energy Burn
to drain energy from foes and to deal damage.
[edit] Equipment
- Activate Mantra of Recovery at the beginning of
each battle.
- Interrupt crucial skills with Power Return and Power Drain.
- Use Shatter Hex to remove harmful hexes on your teammates.
Remember, Shatter
Hex does a great deal of armor ignoring damage to adjacent
foes, so try to use it when you can also deal damage.
- Use Drain Enchantment to remove enchantments
from foes and to regain energy.
- Use Ether
Feast to regain health and to steal energy from foes.
- Correct usage of Power Drain is necessary to have enough energy to
cast the other spells. Use Power Return to interrupt most spells and use Power Drain on
slower, easier to interrupt spells.
[edit] Counters
[edit] Variants
- Proper energy management is key to running this build. Without
it, spells such as Shatter Hex will be too energy intensive to
use.
